A loooong ride home

Do you wanna know what is more irritating than a 5-year-old girl with high heels, clanking and clonking away running up and down the train at night?
TWO 5-year-old girls(probably twins) with high heels, clanking and clonking away running up and down the train at night!
My train ride got worse when they started their weak attempt to climb the poles and eventually fell down with their irritating sound of heels, shocking me EVERY single time.

THEN they started singing some CHINESE NEW YEAR SONG and their lovely, lovely parents just laughed and continued to chat (loudly i must add).

It's not that I despise children but after an uber long day of revising for my upcoming exams, what can I do to get some peace and quiet??

In Singapore, the only place that is quiet is the graveyard.
Libraries are not spared.
Apparently, it is a hot new trend for libraries to be noisy now.
