i hate men in uniform
It happened all so suddenly that i did not get the chance to react how i want to.
but i will try to remember what happened yesterday night.
Time:9.02pm
Venue: Causeway Point smoking alley, below the train tracks.
I just finished having dinner at banquet with Syahid.
We walked around abit
but decided to settle down at the smoking alley in front of Causeway Point,
which is where we always go.
We bought a big gulp in 7/11 and sat down on the (as unglamorous as it may sound) floor.
*note: NO sitting area.
Syahid smoked.
and we chatted.
and laughed.
and enjoyed each other's company.
me: at 9pm, let's get going.
at 9.01pm, i turned to my left and i saw 5 police officers walking around.
and one of them caught my eye.
MY UNCLE.
So, i bury my head on his shoulder, foolishly thinking that they will just pass by.
BUT NOOOOO....
"I.C. please. what are you guys doing here?"
fuck. he noticed me.
Then he looked angry.
Ask for our hp number n serial number, the model of the hp we are using, bla bla bla.
By this time, Syahid turned pissed.
as
1) we were in public
2) we weren't doing anything wrg coz we are in public.
3) they were fucking impolite.
4) My uncle shouted at us. (grrr.)
5) insulted us using our religion.( again. my uncle)
it was humiliating, i tell you.
one of the policer officers even said 'you don't have to know' when Syahid asked why are they checking our id n stuff.
*idiot*
they did not have to be rude.
makes me wonder if ALL police officers are like this.
and the female police officer explained that it was a routine check for security reasons and that we should have sat at a place where it is more well-lit.
and should not have sat on the freaking floor.
*note: SUGGEST SMRT TO PLACE SITTING AREAS IN THE SMOKING AREA SO AS TO AVOID HUMILIATION SUCH AS THIS.
** note again: ALSO SUGGEST TO THEM MORE LAMPOSTS AT THE SMOKING AREA.
i din realize that it was a crime to sit on the floor in public at 9 at night.
To add up all the humiliation, my uncle called his dad n told his dad about what he THINKS he saw and his dad called my mum.
apparently he told them that we have been doing inappropriate things like making out.
(WHICH WE DID NOT!)
So, it was raining cats and dogs and Syahid sent me home.
With no umbrella, we bravely walked home, shivering in the coldness of the rain of the night.
and when i get home.
my mum started crying on how i have shamed her.
i felt terribly awful..
:(
but i will still stand on my ground.
I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG.
well, maybe the skirt part. (my skirt was kinda.. short.)
My mom is okay with me now.
when i told her my side of the story for the millionth time.
thank god.
well, trust me.
I'm sooo pissed with my uncle that i won't ever acknowledge his presence.
EVER.
